Date: Monday August 27th from 12.30 p.m. to 1.45 p.m.
Room 3 - Upper Floor at Spadolini Pavilion
Title: THE APPLICATION OF CE & LC-MS TECHNOLOGIES FOR OMICS RESEARCH
Description: Post translational modifications (PTMs) are important indicators of change in cells. In this workshop discover how CE-MS has been used to detect PTMs and find out how it compares to LC-MS in the analysis of biological samples especially in the areas of phosphorylated site mapping and deamidation site detection.

HIV-1 envelope glycoprotein is heavily glycosylated and is the sole target for neutralizing antibodies and is the focus for design of an HIV vaccine. In the second part of the workshop understand how CE-MS and LC-MS have been utilized with a variety of fragmentation techniques in glycopeptide separation and detection.
