Biognosys Ag Lunch Symposium, Wednesday August 29th, 12.30 p.m. to 1.45 p.m.:

“The Evolution for Shotgun Proteomics ”

Modern proteomics is converging into two main workflows. Data Independent Acquisition (DIA) is the method of choice for large sample numbers and high throughput. However, if the highest number of protein identifications is your concern, DDA, in combination with deep fractionation and Isobaric Labelling Quantification (ILQ), might be a better solution for your research needs.
In the lunch symposium speakers will be presenting their research about how DDA and isobaric labeling allows for more in-depth, quantitative workflows.

Presenters:

Evaluation of Quantitative Analysis Workflows for DDA Data Labeled with Tandem Mass Tags (TMT)
Joanna Kirkpatrick, Leibniz Institute on Aging, Jena, Germany

A New Proteomics Software Suite for Fast Protein Identification and Deep Quantification ofIsobaric Labeling DDA Data
Lynn Verbeke, Biognosys AG, Zurich, Switzerland

EASI-tag: Next Generation Isobaric Labeling
Sebastian Virreira Winter, Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry, Martinsreid, Germany
